Wild Animals on Sunday Stamps

I received these vintage wildlife conservation stamps (issued in 1972) on mail art sent by JAD.

  3. So nice to see the bighorn sheep and fur seal stamps. These are rare wild animals I see on stamps.

    1. I agree, and the pelican, too. The cardinal bird (at least the red male) has had a lot of postage stamp love over the years.

    1. The Tiffany has been a definitive for some time (10 years?) so I would be surprised if you hadn't seen it. Like you, I hadn't been aware of this great set until it arrived in my mailbox.
